Beaches of Goa have something for everyone!

Beaches have a unique versatility, some love them for the adventurous thrill, some for its calm sunshine and some for the scenic beauty of water. For Indians, beaches are synonymous with Goa. Its beautiful coastline is home to many loved beaches of the nation. However, there are a number of places in this small city whose magic are still hidden or less known.

Located in south Goa, Tiger beach is one such example. It is one of the most secluded beaches of the city and a dream land for adventure enthusiasts. The path to its lush green coves and scenic beauty is a rocky one with no public transportation, making it a place reserved only for the brave hearted.

Butterfly beach is located north of the famous Palolem Beach. It is like a dream land where you can find colourful fluttering butterflies, dolphins, exotic gold fishes, sea urchins, crabs and sea cucumbers. You can spot all of them at this place. Largely untouched by human intervention, its virgin beauty is a sight to die for!

Flanked by hills on one side, Agonda Beach is a picture of rugged beauty. Located in South Goa district, it is relatively less unknown and thus, provides its visitors with a serene and personal experience. Its transparent blue waters, clear sand and a stunning view of the sunset makes it a perfect place for a romantic getaway.

Galgibaga Beach or the Turtle Beach is a place where tourists can find themselves at one with nature. Located in south Goa, it is sparsely populated. With a long stretch of clean sand and a frame of palm trees, its beauty never fails to mesmerise the visitors. It also houses various protection centres for the endangered Olive turtles, making it an important place from an ecological point of view!
